What do I need to bring to my appointment?
Just your beautiful face! Freshly cleansed and moisturized skin is ideal but if that is not possible I always have makeup remover handy. Especially for that pesky waterproof mascara that never seems to come all the way off. Avoid sunburns, eyebrow or facial waxing and tanning beds before any makeup application if possible please! Those factors can impact how the makeup can be applied, if it will even stay on the skin and it’s longevity. Your skin and myself will thank you!
Do you travel or do I have to come to you?
I am fully versatile and able to come to you at any location for a makeup application. Convenience for your important day is of the utmost importance, so I do travel outside of the Michiana area as well to accommodate your needs. Travel fees may apply for longer distances locally and out of state. I bring my own light, table, chair, and professional makeup kit to make your day go as smoothly as possible. You also have the option of having your makeup done at my studio in South Bend.
How far in advance should I book for my wedding or special event?
If you would like to book my services I highly suggest inquiring about your date as soon as you know what date it is and booking a trial if it’s for your wedding. I only take one wedding per day so you have my undivided attention and focus on the day of your special event. Once you have booked with me, I am there for you every step of the way to cultivate and plan the event or wedding day look of your dreams. Together we will envision a flawless look that will not only last all day and night but it will complement you and suit all of your best features. All while being able to look in the mirror and still see yourself that day.
Why do I need a Professional Makeup Artist?
Everyone knows that events take so much time to plan, cultivate and organize to get all of those little details just right on your special day. Let me stress about the makeup so you can enjoy the getting ready process and just soaking up the atmosphere on your magical day. In being a Professional Makeup Artist I have a full and complete understanding of color theory for all skin tones as well as the actual application techniques that will ensure the longevity of your makeup. As well as an all inclusive and comprehensive knowledge of proper sanitation techniques and disease control as it applies to makeup and Esthetics.
What other Esthetics services do you offer?
I offer many other services other than just makeup applications. For waxing services I provide: eyebrows, chin, lips, underarms, legs, chest, back as well as offering bikini waxes. I also provide my luxury facials, as well as flash hydro facials, micro needling, dermaplaning, brow tints and brow lamination. Also a full body massage can be added onto any facial for a total relaxation package. All facial services are fully customized for your skin type and condition upon seeing your freshly cleansed skin.

How did you come up with your business name?
There are two things I believe every person should have in life. Those two things not surprisingly, are courage and grace. Courage to do what scares you in life and to reach for your dreams no matter how daunting they may seem. Grace is defined as, simple elegance or refinement of movement. To me that’s about living a simply fulfilling life that brings you thrill and joy while not sacrificing what’s important to you. I strive to the best of my abilities to be humble as well as to live a life full of courage and grace. I think that those two words have just been a guiding light for me in the good times and in bad. So I chose to use them for my business name as a reminder to never forget the past while looking forward to my future.
What products do you use?
In my kit you will find a huge variety of products I have carefully curated based on their performance and longevity when applied to the skin. My products in my kit range from popular retail brands to drugstore gems to professional holy grail products that I’ve repurchased over and over. Nothing gets put into my kit without getting tested on myself first so I really know how that product performs and applies. I expect products that do make it into my kit to perform beautifully and flawlessly time and time again. Therefore, I hold these products to the highest of standards to ensure the highest quality makeup application.

How would you describe your makeup style and expertise?
As I started applying makeup and really playing around with different kinds of looks and techniques I really found my niche in a skin forward kind of makeup application. I love a juicy and healthy looking skin kind of makeup application that also has an eye look to compliment your unique features. The secret is really in the skin’s preparation prior to the makeup application. I love to do soft and effortless beauty kind of looks. The kind of makeup where you know you’re wearing it but it doesn’t feel like it. As well as it makes you look great in photos but, you can still see yourself when you look in the mirror. I like to say it’s like your inner beauty is being brought to the surface for everyone to see.
For weddings, how do I prepare for a Pre-Wedding Trial?
For a trial I suggest bringing your three favorite pictures of makeup looks that you like or are interested in as well as a picture of your wedding colors. Also if you have a photo of the hairstyle, any accessories and dress or outfit that you are going to wear for the wedding bring those as well please. All of that information will help me with fully envisioning the look that you want to achieve as well as the aesthetic for your event. For your skin I ask that you have a clean face free from makeup as well as no eyebrow/facial waxing or actual facials the week before your trial.
