I know you’re curious to get to know me more, so here’s a little bit about me. I’m passionate about all things makeup, skincare, pets, plants and sprinkled donuts. I’ve been doing makeup ever since I can remember and when I got my job at Sephora in 2017 it was a dream come true. I worked there for four years and learned so much from working on every color, texture and type of skin. The experience I gained while working there was absolutely priceless.

I’ve always had such a creative side to myself. Whether it be watercolor painting, makeup or cooking/baking I just love the joy that creativity brings to my life. Truth be told baking isn’t my strongest attribute but homemade cinnamon rolls are well worth the struggle if you ask me. I’m definitely one to just look at what we have in the fridge and like the show Chopped just go with it and make something up. For the longest time I had actually planned on going to culinary school but life had a different plan for me.

Outside of work when I want to relax I love to play video games on my Nintendo Switch. I’ve really been enjoying playing games from my childhood growing up in the 90’s and Pokemon games. I also enjoy growing all of my tropical houseplants, which are mostly a countless varieties of Hoyas. They are my favorite because their blooms are so beautiful and smell so good. So much so I actually have a greenhouse and am actually quite nerdy about it.

My husband and I have four fur babies with hopes of adding human babies to our lives one day! We have one dogs and three cats and if you love animals as much as I do you’ll find that we will probably talk about them the whole time we are together. We have Bailey the Aussie mix, and the kitties are Aurora, Frank and Marley. It’s a little wild sometimes but I wouldn’t have it any other way.

When I opened my first studio for Courage and Grace Artistry in May of this 2022 I had no idea what it was going to look like or what the future would hold for me and my new business. They say when you do something you love you’ll never work a day in your life. Well, when I’m doing makeup time just fly’s and an hours feels like just a few moments. I won’t ever get enough of the feeling when I’m finished with an application and I finally hand over the mirror and you can see yourself for the first time.

It’s then that I get to watch your eyes light up, then you start playing with your hair and all of the sudden you start sitting a little taller in the chair. That moment is exactly what I do this for, to make you feel so beautiful without losing sight of yourself. That’s exactly where “Be Authentic. Be Beautiful. Be You.” came from. I try to live out those words with everything I do. So that way when it comes to my work then you can see what I see too. Can’t wait to see you in my chair beautiful.
